MANUAL PRESS FOR CBR TESTING

The CBR press load is used to force penetration of the piston into the compacted CBR sample . The load is applied through a mechanical jack. The jack gear ratio has been selected to provide a speed that can be kept comfortable at hand, particularly with high resistance CBR flooring. Includes fast-forward or reverse approach.

UNCONFINED PRESS COMPRESSION

The unconfined press is a device designed to apply loads manually, via a connecting rod coupled to a gear device placed in the base of the press. The gear system allows to operate the press with two different relations, making slow progress for force application during testing and fast forward for the return.
